Ibadan Journal of History (IJH), Vol. 7, 2019
The Ibadan Journal of History (IJH), a scholarly publication of the Department of History, University of Ibadan welcomes significant and original research in history and related disciplines. The objective of the journal is to advance research, scholarship and understanding of dynamism, continuity and change in human society. Contributors should shed new light on existing debates, raise new or neglected themes and provide new perspectives from comparative research. The IJH embraces all aspects of history. Review articles, research reports, book reviews, resume and commentaries are also encouraged.
Contributors must follow strictly editorial guidelines of the 15th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style and use footnote format for references. Papers should be submitted in British English and should be of normal article length (20-25 pages) on A4 sized paper, Times New Roman (font 12). Articles should be typed double-spaced and must be submitted with an abstract of not more than 250 words. All articles and reviews should be sent not later than 31 July, 2019 to:
