Congratulations to Professors Toyin Falola and Raphael Njoku for their wisdom, foresight and drive to write this special book, United States and Africa Relations. It could not have come at a more timely time in the history of the specific relationship of  the United States and Africa.

Yale University Press has announced the publication of United States and Africa Relations, 1400s to the Present. This comprehensive history of the relationship between Africa and the United States by Professors Toyin Falola and Raphael Chijioke Njoku covers over 600 years of history from the dawn of the trans-Atlantic slave trade to 2019.
