PM Boris Johnson this evening announced that England will go into a second lockdown beginning from next Thursday.
PM Johnson said this was inevitable as cases of COVID-19 kept rising. He acted on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer and said this time the lockdown will be limited and end December 2.
During the lockdown schools and movement to and from work will not be affected but the hospitality industry will remain shut.
The constituent members of the British tetrarchy had adopted different strategies to curb the menace of the coronavirus with Wales the first to embark on what amounted to second lock down.
