Dear Ms Sophia:
Thanks for your note below. It is an excellent initiative. Who is your publisher? Are you affiliated with the University? How do you intend to market the journal?
I can be on the editorial team, but serving as an editor may be difficult in view of my heavy schedule.
Best

Subject: Invitation/Editorial Board Member/International Journal of African Studies
Esteemed Professor,
Greetings from International Journal of African Studies!
The "International Journal of African Studies" (IJAFS) is an International online journal in English will be published quarterly. The aim of IJAFS is to publish peer reviewed research and review articles in the fields of African Studies .
As you are aware, African Studies has emerged as a major field of study and its importance is being appreciated particularly as a means to create new industrial trends. The recent accumulation of scientific wisdom in these disciplines is gradually transforming its huge social and economic potential into reality.
In this evolving scenario we wish to launch the International Journal of African Studies as a platform for the academia, industry leaders, and others concerned with the growth of the African Studies discipline to articulate their research findings, their vision about these evolving disciplines, their expositions and propositions meant for bettering the management of new lines of research and through it disseminate the cutting edge knowledge among the industry and academia.
This shall make fresh corpus of knowledge available to safely navigate itself through the maze of evolving technologies and transformations, and at the same time, provide a platform for budding researchers to present their research findings with least time loss.
In this humble endeavor, we would like to invite you to join our proposed Board of Editors and encourage us to move forward with confidence.
We earnestly hope that you would honor us with your acceptance.
With regards,
Sincerely,
Ms. Sophia,
Editorial Team Member,
