Dear Wole Arisekola,
I'm a practising Muslim.
The unfaithful event that happened in Ikoyi that Monday was not only terrible but heartbreaking. Pls, I will be happy if you can keep my identity from the Public. The account that Mr sikiru was rejected because of his faith was untrue.
He was interviewed quite alright, in front of my good self, Wale Bob Oseni, Skippo and a guy from London all presumed dead by now.
Sikiru was asked if he has experience with modern technology that will be deployed in a couple of days to facilitate the quick finishing of the project. He said NO.
Then he was asked how far he leaves from the site. He mentioned a very far area in the mainland and Wale Oseni jokingly said, he should be coming from Ibadan than living in his area.
Then about the beard, He was asked that if he realise that police will be disturbing him because of his looks.
That he may be regarded as a member of beard gangs.A notorious cult group in Ikorodu. We were all started laughing.
I know some Nigerians are desperately in need of favour but we must do it with decency.
We are not religious bigotry in the south-west, as most of our families are either Christian or Muslim.
Please in Journalism ethics, we must listen to both sides before we go public.
Thank you.
