I am the one who used "exaggerated", drawing from a private conversation. News came that the church was burnt, he was on the run, his house was being attacked, etc. etc. His phone could not be reached.

Thus, by the time I got hold of him, a few sentences were corrected.

Also, note that in his role, he has to appeal to peace.
