Hey all,
I figured some of you may be interested in this development that occurred last week (link to the story is below my signature). While it isn't unusual for African athletes to be drafted by American football teams, the team drafted Uar Bernard (a Nigerian who hasn't played American football) based on his athletic traits (speed, arm length, weight, strength).
I would also point out that the team that drafted him (the Eagles) similarly transformed an Australian rugby player into a very good offensive lineman, so this isn't a publicity stunt.
