Anti-war thoughts about the ongoing slaughter in Ethiopia
By the hour, the world is becoming
a very dangerous place in which to live.
Here's the latest news about what happened up in the air:
an attempted hijacking between Dubai And Tel Aviv
We should brace ourselves for the worst,
because according to Sheikh Imran Hosein
we ain’t seen nothing yet:

That’s why the Anti-war people should be very very worried, because, if we’re not very very careful, due to nuclear conflagrations here and there, there won’t be anyone left to be asking, where have all the flowers gone? No Big Grammar. It’s as simple as that.
Plain talk :
It's happening in Ethiopia which is one of the world's oldest Christian countries
much older than Trump’s United States of America…
Each has its own place of course,
but what’s WANTED
is less of funeral dirges
such as Wilfred Owen’s sorrowful
and more of celebratory sounds
such as Kamasi Washington blasting
There are the Afrocentrists
who say that in the general
history of mankind which
started in Africa,
the ancestral home of all mankind
It’s part of the foundational event
According to many world folklore
heritage traditions, that the devil danced
when the first murder was committed
and this is definitely from where
Aminatta Forna nabbed the title
of her book ( memoirs)
“The Devil That Danced on Water”
The devil showing up anywhere
means murder
the devil
survives on young peoples’ blood
murder pure and simple
which is what Nobel Laureate
Bobby D means
when he screams,
to paradise no more, I killed a man
In my view,
The ongoing carnage in Ethiopia
is entirely fratricide
albeit there are
those who say
that it’s only political
whilst others - fatalists - say
what must be must be
and that wherever
it happens -
blame it on the military
blame it on colonialism
blame it on Heil Hitler
the devil
Right now as the Africa Union
and the Organisation of African Unity
look on, they are fighting near Axum,
which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site...
In The Way of Man - one of Martin Buber’s seminal,
there’s this very contemporaneous question still being
asked of Adam who is you
who is me too :
“How long shall they kill our prophets,
while we stand aside and look?”
It’s not just a matter of which side are you on,
it’s really not just a matter of “flesh and blood
breaking down , you either got faith
or disbelief and there ain’t no neutral ground” ,
because when the killing
morphs into mass slaughter
call it what you will - call it
military or industrial mass murder
Holocaust, genocide , concerning
the sanctity of life ,doesn’t Judaism,
Christianity and Islam and your conscience
teach that to kill one person is tantamount to killing all mankind?
