Emeritus Prof. A. B. Assensoh to join the Panel Discussion on Polygamy, November 1, 2026
Emeritus Professor A. B. Assensoh— trained in Journalism, History and Law —is the author/co-author of over a dozen well received books. His biography of Malcolm X as well as his 2024 monograph on Kwame Nkrumah’s Political Kingdom and Pan-Africanism, both co-authored with his spouse (Professor Yvette M. Alex-Assensoh, a VP of University of Oregon) have been re-issued in a second edition and in both hardcover and paperback.
He is joining the panel with practical experience, as his late father was a hearty polygamist with 6 wives, at a time, and 48 children, of which “A. B.” is the 36th child (son).
Please join us for a panel discussion with our distinguished panelists, Chief Adetola B. Adeniyi, Prof. Mukhtar Umar Bunza, Dr. (Mrs.) Faleke Victoria Ogunnike, Professor A. B. Assensoh, and Dr. Teboho Solomon Ngubane, who will be sharing their expertise on "Polygamy."
