Fictional Interview #8
Gigi vs POTUS (President of the United States)
“Take that Donald Trump,” mocked Gigi.
“What do you mean, Pigi,” snapped the President.
“Well my name begins with a “G “ not a “P” and I am talking about the devastating loss in the Midterm elections. People overwhelmingly voted against you,”she retorted.
“You are wrong. In fact I would have won if placed on the ballot,” said the delusional man.
“You lost both the Senate and the House of Representatives because you were the champion of silly tariffs, even against your allies, on the border. Your mindless provocation of Iran, led to the crisis at the Gulf of Hormuz, and increased costs for food, fertilizers and everything else,”Gigi retorted. “Let me add to that, your rampant nepotism, and self gratification,” said Gigi, her eyes fixated on the orange -colored hair of the President. “People also
voted against those water - guzzling, noise - polluting data centers, and those non- regulated, job -annihilating AI projects by Big Tech,” she pointed out.
“Well, my ballroom will be the biggest in the world. It is huge, and will accommodate thousands. Besides that we have erected hundreds of monuments, some in my name,” said the unapologetic narcissist.
“Well your Baal room or Ball room impressed no one. People are concerned about bread and butter issues. You lost Texas despite Musk’s hundred million dollar backing of a candidate who lost anyway, “ said Gigi.
“Well my administration is the most successful in the world” muttered POTUS, oblivious of reality.
“How do the White Supremacists in your party feel about the election of the first female Native American Governor, the first Black female Governor, the first female Latina Governor of Texas, and the first Muslim Senator?” Gigi asked.
POTUS was silent but Gigi continued to speak. “Do you realize that the Democrats, your electoral opponents, now have almost a hundred seats more than Republicans in the House, and ten seats more than Republicans in the Senate,” the journalist reminded POTUS.
Unfortunately, Trump’s eyes were fixated on the Baal Room and the planned “Arc of Trump,” earmarked for Washington, D.C, and her words fell on deaf ears.
