On my apparel,
My immaculate cassock,
Preachers of piety,
Pretenders?
Why do you mount pulpits
And from there
Appoint selves judges
Of my muse,
My message?
Like angry kangaroos
You shred my scroll,
You seek to muffle my voice.
You tag me renegade
And labour
To mangle my message.
Forgive them mother muse.
Let me
Your son,
Mouthpiece of Chukwu,
Let me do penance
For their sin.
