With all these nauseating PRAISE-SINGING around Gov Obi, it is rather surprising that Anambra still have the following problems that are associated with virtually visionless and inept Nigerian leaders:
1. There is no village or town with regular pipe-borne water;
2. There is no major City with mass transit system;
3. There is no town with waste and sewer management;
4. All historical sites and relics are in despair, including Zik’s states;
5. Most of the educational institutions are retreating and regressing in quality and infrastructures;
6. The inter-city road networks are in deplorable conditions
7. Security of lives and property is a low priority except for the leaders;
8. The regular electricity challenge seems insurmountable;
9. Anambra still has one of the most burdensome erosion problems in Nigeria.
The question therefore is: why all the hooplas and praise-singing if these mundane issues are still in Anambra as we have elsewhere in Nigeria. Rapu mmadu aka jare! Nigerians are their own worst enemies. Take care. JUI

Subject: [NaijaPolitics] To those who vilify Obi
Those who vilify Obi, hear this:
'Mr. Obi's practical application of his inward zeal to turn around the misfortune of the society challenges those who, though possessing the requisite endowments for societal regeneration, timidly fall for the withdrawal syndrome, and settle as drab spectators (sidon de look) in the conspiracy to perpetually consign the society into a perilous circus, while the perpetrators of socio-political absurdities frolic in wanton rascality.'
See Opinion page, Daily Champion, Tuesday August 17, 2010, Gov. Obi's essence: A Tutorial for Budding Leaders.
Is this not his absolution by public opinion?
