USA Africa Dialogue Series - Jobs in Tanzania

ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSTS

1.      Job Title: Senior Consultant (1 Post)

Qualifications:

Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration, Education, Economics with at least three years of experience after master's studies. The candidate should have experience in report writing of not less than three years. The candidate must be computer literate and capable of applying MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Project and Internet Explorer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Design, Produce and Deliver  Training Programme in his/her areas of qualifications,

·         Conduct evaluation and write reports on the training programme at the end of the same,

·         Prepare relevant Expression of Interest based on various requests on the news papers and other sources of information requesting for the same

·         Prepare relevant Technical and Financial proposals based on various requests on the news papers and other sources of information requesting for the same

·         Develop data collection tools and instruments to be used in various assignments as it may be required by organization

·         Administer data collection exercises, data entry, analysis and interpretation of various outputs extracted from a computer system or a manual based system and recommend for some steps forward.

·         Prepare various reports on training and consultancy services for the organization

·         Prepare, present and execute departmental and organizational annual business plan

·         Prepare and make presentation of quarterly and annual departmental and organizational business plan implementation report  

·         Prepare organization strategic plan and make presentation to the management

·         Administer and manage any other research and consulting functions as may be assigned by this superior on individual or team basis

·         Performs other official duties and functions as may be assigned by the superiors from time to time.

 

2.      Job Title: Consultant Trainee (1 Post)

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Planning and Management, Economics, Human Resources, Public Administration or Education with at least two years experience after undergraduate studies. The candidate must be a computer literate and capable of applying MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Project and Internet Explorer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Provide support to senior officers in the Design, Production and Delivery of  Training Programme in his/her areas of qualifications,

·         Conduct evaluation and write reports on the training programme at the end of the same,

·         Provide facilitation to senior officers in the Preparation of  relevant Expression of Interest based on various requests on the news papers and other sources of information requesting for the same

·         Provide facilitation to senior officers in the Preparation of  relevant Technical and Financial proposals based on various requests on the news papers and other sources of information requesting for the same

·         Provide facilitation to senior officers in the development of data collection tools and instruments to be used in various assignments as it may be required by organization

·         Administer data collection exercises, data entry, analysis and interpretation of various outputs extracted from a computer system or a manual based system and recommend for some steps forward.

·         Participate in the Preparation of various reports on training and consultancy services for the organization

·         Participate in the Preparation and execution of departmental and organizational annual business plan

3.      Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officers  ( 2 Posts )

Qualifications:

A holder of a university degree or Advance diploma in Marketing or Business Administration -Marketing from a recognized University/Institution. The candidate must be a computer literate and capable of applying MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Project, and Internet Explorer. Fluent in both Kiswahili and English, good interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Develop, present and execute organization marketing plan

·         Develop and maintain organization marketing database

·         Develop, make presentations and execute various marketing programmes as it may be deemed necessary by the management

·         Prepare the departmental annual business plan and make presentation of the same to the management

·         To participate in the preparation of organization Strategic Plan and its implementation

·         To promote products and services developed by the organization from time to time as it may be decided by the management

·         Conduct or Carry out market research and market intelligence to identify opportunities and gaps in the market and develop intervention strategies to address the same

·         Develop market expansion programs and present to the management for approval and engage in the execution of the programme

·         Manage the production and distribution of Marketing materials and tools, including T-shirts, caps, brochures, posters, banners and flyers.

·         Prepare departmental quarterly and annual reports and present them to superior meetings for approvals and advises.

·         Performs other official duties and functions as may be assigned by his/her superiors from time to time.

 

4.      Job Title: Administrative Secretary (1 Post)

Qualifications:

A form IV and VI graduate with Diploma in secretarial course from a recognized institution. The candidate must be a computer literate and capable of applying MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Access and Internet Explorer. Fluent in both Kiswahili and English, with good interpersonal and communication skills. Must have attended and passed Office Management Practice Examination and working experience of not less than three years in secretarial related field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Office administration and Management

·         Maintain and administer organizational activity and programme schedules

·         Coordinate and administer material and functional requirements of all training programmes and consultancy services executed by the organization

·         Develop and maintain organization client database

·         To receive visitors, calls, faxes, email and mails and attend them respectively.

·         Provide effective and efficiency records management for organization operations

·         To type letters, minutes, reports and other related documents as issued by other his/her superiors

·         To issue payments and maintain cash books and other financial records

·         To maintain ledger of office materials and ensure timely availability of stationeries and other office equipments and materials for various operations.

·         Performs other official duties and functions as may be assigned by his/her superiors from time to time.
