Dear Kolawole: The IMF problem is they do not understand the culture of Africans including their institutions. Their measures are too narrow and do not look at indicators of poverty. They need to understand high growth in the midst of mass poverty and misery is real in many African countries. The IMF itself is corrupt as an institution and therefore they cannot address corruption in Africa, so I agree with your assessments.
