Here's a shocker.  Brazil is the most populous country in South America.  its population was estimated at 194 million in 2009.  Guess what, more than half of the population is black.  Now the Brazilian Foreign Ministry just announced that it is going to make its diplomatic missions abroad look a little like the people in the streets of its country.  It is going to ensure that 10%, I kid you not, yes 10% of its 300 incoming students to its diplomatic academy will be black.  This a country where its population (READ MORE)

Poland swears in Nigerian Godson as first black MP

 

John Abraham Godson, a Polish citizen born and raised in Nigeria, has been sworn in as the first black member of Poland's parliament.

Mr Godson had served as a councillor in the city of Lodz before taking up a parliamentary seat, vacated by a party colleague after local elections. (READ MORE)
