>This is to inform you that this evening, about 730-8pm Nigerian
>time, Bombs were dropped in various Christian dominated parts of Jos
>killing several and wounding several more people. The affected
>areas include Gada Biyu, Angwan Rukuba, and Tina Junction, with
>drinking spots and bars most targeted. Though I live in the Staff

>received a phone call from far away Abuja about the incident and
>then called people both Christians and Muslims and Jos and they all
>confirmed the incident. No one or group has claimed responsibility.

The information is true.I am a resident of Jos, living at Kabong (Gada-Biyu). The explosions were about six in number and they happened consecutively at different parts of Jos. Kabong (Gada-Biyu) alone witnessed about four bomb explosions. The fifth was at Angwan Rukuba while the sixth was at Amigo Junction in Jos. In Kabong, The first explosion was close to a Catholic church (Sacred Heart Catholic Church). The second was close to a overhead bridge, the third was close to some beer palours and the fourth was by a river. The number of casualties as of yesterday in Gada-Biyu stood at 14/15 dead people. I saw horrible and unspeakable things: mass panic, a woman's eye gorging out, people with broken arms and blood all over their bodies, littered dead bodies,etc...can't go on.I think that those attacks were the work of experts. The coordination and precision of the attacks undoubtedly support my opinion.I remember receiving an sms on 22/12/2010 from one of my dad's friends informing me of the presence of Boko Haram members in Jos with subversive intentions.I never took it seriously until now.Ours in Jos is a sad Christmas. The evil of terrorism must be crushed by all peace loving people of the world.Extremism in Islam is indeed a threat to global peace.
