I have tried to verify the authenticity of the Nigerian Foundation, Houston, TX from the Nigerian Embassy in Washington, DC without success. A man and a woman were said to have claimed that they came from the Embassy. Please read the advertisement below and the experience of my friend as described in his two separate mails to me. What is now causing him to even become more worried is that the number listed for the president of the Foundation has been disconnected.
I am hoping that people from Houston who may know any of the listed officials below will give us more pieces of information. It is one thing to be overcharged but it is more serious that these Nigerian Foundation officials are holding other people’s passports. If this is a 419, these people need to be stopped.

Here are the two mails from my contact in Houston, describing his experience.
Good evening sir & how was your day?
Yesterday, I was at the venue where the issuance of New E-passport was organized by Nigeria Foundation of Houston, TX. The venue was jammed parked & the place was not conducive at all, very hot like a bakery oven. The receipt, application & old passports were checked with self addressed returned EMS envelop while we were asked to come back on Tuesday for finger prints & photograph. Not only this, apart from the $20.00 money order payable to the Consulate General of Nigeria, that you told me to have with me when going there, additional $30.00 money order were also made payable to the organizers of the program.
I pray Tuesday will be realistic for the completion of all to be done .
The followup mail from my friends.
