Tinubu is leader of Yoruba, says Lanlehin
(NOTE: TINUBU NOT BANKOLE, THE YORUBA HIGHEST POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDER)
For pulling the Southwest from the grip of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State Action Congress of Nigeria( ACN) governorship aspirant, Chief Femi Lanlehin, has described former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as the leader of the Yoruba.
Lanlehin declared this in a chat with reporters after his tour of the 33 local governments in the state.
He said the doggedness and true democratic culture being spread by the former Lagos State Governor is gradually eclipsing the violent, primitive and outdated political style of the PDP in the zone.
He called on the ACN leader not to relent in his efforts to bring light to the entire geo-political zone but to double his efforts in setting the remaining states free from the ruling PDP.
Lanlehin used the forum to restate that he was not fronting for the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo or the PDP. He said he decided to join other progressives in the zone to bring political freedom which had eluded the Yoruba since the PDP forcefully took over power in 2003.
