i would put a worse spin on the nature of the views expressed in the
blog. it makes ghaddafi sound like this interesting, slightly quirky,
but strong 3d world figure, like a hero in the end.
well, so is mugabe in some people'e eyes. and gbagbo in others.
ghaddafi is a measly tyrant who is butchering his own people, using
mercenaries to boot. i can't imagine a more despicable leader. not
quirky, despicable. we owe it to those dying at his hands expressions of
solidarity. i would wish people like him would end up, like charles
taylor, in the docket for committing crimes against humanity. what else
is it to bomb your own unarmed people protesting in the street?
