Again, we look at the infrastructure issues that demand attention at universities across Nigeria and wonder – Where is the maintenance? A culture of maintenance is critical to long term success. While I applaud the expansion of the Nigerian university system and understand that the seed money for them is quite ample. What is the plan for supporting Nigerian universities across the country in the long term? Do we really want more of the same or is there something happening to correct these debilitating circumstances that hinder academic achievement and therefore national development.
Thank you,
Dr Jamaine Abidogun
