Bull- Current Liberia Ambassador to the United States of America | | | What is the African Development and Investment Group-Liberia ? | The African Development and Investment Group-Liberia LLC has aligned its initial investment portfolio.to affect Liberia's resurgent workforce through renewable-alternative energy, entrepreneurial investment. Inovative production techonogies will make Liberia more self-sufficient as well as major exporter of alternative energy and Agricultural products and services. Likewise, it is the express purpose of ADIG to affect Liberia's Manufacturing base creating those manufacturing capacities which will enable Liberia to export products, not simply its resources-but putting its resources to work in Liberia for Liberians and for all of West Africa..Finally, ADIG's Energy, manufacturing, and agricultural engagement is intergrated and amplified through its innovative educational, health and community capacity building - providing a sustainable model to be replicated throughout West Africa. | | | | | | An after visit letter from ADIG to the Liberian Government. | Gabriel I. H. Williams, Minister Counselor for Press & Public Affairs, the Embassy of Liberia, Washington, D.C. Dear Gabriel: It was an explicit privilege to visit with Republic of Liberia's Ambassador Ad Hoc and Charge d'Affaires, a.i., of the Embassy of Liberia to the United States, His Excellency William V.S. Bull and his staff, including yourself and Christopher J. Nippy, the First Secretary For Political & Consular Affairs. The meeting was extremely cordial, professionally engaging and, we believe, prescient in its ultimate economic consequence on behalf of Liberian-American trade. We are absolutely dedicated to the proposition of a vibrant Liberian economy - manufacturing, agri-business, energy technologies, as well as strong health and educational opportunities for all Liberians - supported by American technology and the human ingenuity and workforce of the Liberian people. We are especially committed to an indigenous expansion of Liberia's creative use of her own resources to create jobs that will not only radically improve the GDP of her populous but will greatly benefit those surrounding community of nations which comprise the Mano River Union and beyond. It is to this end that we pledge our resolute efforts to channel more and more American and American-Liberian expatriates in their consideration of "doing business in the New Liberia." Ours is a fundamentally and purposefully "grassroots" endeavor which is, therefore, a truly people-driven entrepreneurial experiment - knowing this, that our private endeavor needs governments in both Liberia and in the USA to encourage and direct that effort. This is truly a private-public partnership of sublime difference juxtaposed to large corporations taking the lead - but simultaneously we will welcome collaboration between and among such to further our efforts. Our President, Titus A. Thomas - is a man of unusual talent and passion for Liberia. His commitment is undefiled on behalf of Liberia and American engagement in Liberia's welfare. The addition of Moses Bombo Tambason as our "resident entrepreneur" illustrates the continuance of our "grassroots" effort to solicit Liberians who are dedicated to "made in Liberia by Liberians" approach of doing business in Liberia. Please express our sincere appreciation for Ambassador Bull's truly cooperative and genuine reflections on our behalf in doing business in Liberia, and, as well, to the First Secretary for Political & Consular Affairs, Christopher J. Nippy, who likewise was reassuring and genuinely friendly and receptive of our immediate efforts to engage the people of Liberia through her representation here in the USA. Now - the hard work begins...Titus will undoubtedly be in touch with your good offices to solicit some of the essential recommendations and commendations from the Liberia Government in Monrovia on our behalf. These deliberations are extremely important for our own governmental officials to persuade their direction on our behalf and to advocate for ADIG. There is an unquestioned anticipation that our persistence will bear much fruit that will and must endure on behalf of all Liberians who earnestly seek peace and freedom, open markets, and a vibrant economy that is transparent and void of corruption, providing opportunity to all who wish to avail themselves of the possibilities which we affirm shall increase through our mutual efforts. Again, your hospitality and kindnesses from all of you at the Liberian Embassy were noteworthy and exceptional - we are very grateful to you all and look forward in working together for the common good of Liberia and America - our shared history is unequivocal and is due for a genuine renewal of compatible economic and spiritual interests which are certainly traditionally anticipatory in nature. Let this be the beginning of something good for both Liberia and America. Please do share our appreciations with the Ambassador and the First Secretary. Sincerely,
Douglas W. Krieger, ADIG Director of Public Affairs 916-996-1438 www.adigllc.com
