RE: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Re: Gaddafi Where have al theBillions Gone?

Well said, my brother Ken. This latter Gaddafi guy is a maniac. There used
to be a good Gaddafi, the one who supported good causes in Africa in the
70's on behalf of the liberation movements. Then the crazy Gaddafi took
over, in my mind, when there were no more good causes for him to support. He
literally created problems in many countries and pretended to be solving
those problems, with money and arms. The latter Gaddafi confuses me, just
lie the latter Mugabe. After he bombs and kills his own people in order to
stay in power, how is he going to govern? You can't govern people whose
loved ones you have bombed into submission. The longer he stays in power
through bombs the less likely it will be for him to find places for asylum.
Poor Gaddafi!!

Pretty soon he will have no place to hide.

i believe jaye has it right, and the other issues are distractions, in fact,
virtually lies.
there is an oppressive state, the people are being treated as sheep, the
ruler enriches himself. he slaughters his sheep to keep in power. it
couldn't be uglier.
but it is; he is practically insane, and cloaks his exploitation in
baloney. al qaeda and drugs! how can you listen to this maniac?
and we are supposed to listen to what he says?
it is simple enough: either we support the people of the nation who are in
revolt, or we dupe ourselves and support a tyrant ken
