USA Africa Dialogue Series - Re: [NIgerianWorldForum] RE: | Dead and Ressurected Pastor Lucky he is Nigerian---- Nigerian Man ComesBack From The Dead After 3 Days!!

My dear people,

Good morning.

I must thank you all for your responses so far including  that of our dear Daddy,
 Dr Ojo.

I am not recommending anyone to go in search of these pastors or churches.

All the video is meant to do,  is inform.

I do not know the pastor or any of the people in the video, neither do I intend going in search of them. I merely stumbled on the video online.

I came across it and felt it is something worth sharing.

I am a Christian and happy about my faith but must state again clearly, that, I have no intention of going in search of the pastors or  "their" church.

Please everyone should kindly understand, I am NOT recommending that  anyone should go in "search" of any of the pastors in the videos or come to me, Ifuemi Adepoju or any of my relatives or friends for spiritual assistance because our religion and beliefs are within us and best shown by our actions and the way we treat each other.

Like most people, I am still seeking the meaning and essence of life.
Therefore,I,  Ifuemi Adepoju does not claim to be an expert.
We can only learn from each other and teach each other things which would hopefully help us become better people.

Personally, while I keep an open mind on issues,  I am often weary of people.

Thus, please, my posting on this topic does not mean I am "recommending"  the "pastor" or their "church".

I am not in support of "paying" for matters of spirituality. God has given us all we have free and has never asked us human beings for a kobo.

My recommendation in spiritual matters  is to develop your own self rather than depend on anyone because no one knows "you" better than yourself.  I am sure that as adults  who have had some of life's experiences we are still trying to understand life and its meaning, there are secret pains ans worries  within each and everyone of us that we would rather share with no one but our creator
only.

I hope the immediate above  statement is not again misuderstood as my having a hidden agenda.

This simply means, everyone should be responsible for their own (personal) spiritual  development and relationship with God.
You do not have to rely on any  "Wollie",  "Alagba" , "Alfa" , "Babalawo" or "Pastor".

I hope I have been better understood.

Secondly,
I am happy Dr Ola noticed the spirit of the people and the cleanliness of their compounds amidst the poor facilities. This means Nigerians are aware of better living standards and would appreciate it if this can be made easier to achieve.

Dr Ola's comments takes us to other issues which these videos highlight. Which we would start by reflecting on some underlying issues in the video. We could gently probe these reflections by asking ourselves certain questions.

A good question to  ask ourselves is :  what do these You-tube videos say about the medical facilities, state of vehicles and roads in our country?

From my reflections, it is obvious that rather than get foreigners to invest in Crude oil, Palm oil, Retail, and Land grabs, one of the areas we should encourage them to invest in  is : 1. building and maintaining state of the art  hospitals and/or invest in our existing hospitals and medical training schools. We all know how helpful this would be . The benefits would be many.

While our government amongst other pressing issues, (We won't go into detail here) also focuses in making sure we have good roads and safe vehicles to travel in.  By :

 1. constructing proper roads with good networks
 2. Ensuring the roads are free of highway robbers ad kidnappers
 3. Citizens are able to buy inexpensive good quality cars
 4. Adequate  training for those who want to become auto mechanics. ( Foreigners could invest in auto mechanic training schools as well-I mean engineering training schools, subsidized by the government) So it is not just a matter of "dis pikin no know book, make e go learn mechanic work jare"

However, this does not mean that Nigerians who have had the opportunity of being trained by those who are really good cannot invest in such training schools as well. I am sure we have brothers and sisters in Diaspora who are great auto engineers and wish to return home or invest at home.  Such great minds should please come home to salvage our country by teaching our youths what they,  our own Nigerian experts  know. It would go a long way in rescuing thousands of lives and saving Nigerians time and  money when visiting the mechanics workshop.

Apart from going  to go to the LASTMA office, visitig  the mechanic's workshop or hospital is something most Nigerians fear.

I wish us all a very good and pleasant day.

All the best ,

Ifuemi Adepoju.

Dr. Ola Kassim:

Again here, you and I agree 100%!

Nigeria's DOOM started when crude oil that we could neither find nor process was found in quantum in our backyard, and when Christianity of the Born-Again variety took center stage as the easiest way to make money in Nigeria - if you did not get an oil plot!

Christianity sealed the DOOM of Nigeria!

How sad!

Nigeria was in the early 60's such a promising African nation, bright with hope!

The Black Man had finally arrived to join the League of Nations!

But Alas!

It was a Fata Morgana! An Illusion of grandeur!

Dr Jack:

That dead and born again Pastor is lucky he is a Nigerian
and that his supposed faked death did not occur outside of Nigeria
in a jurisdiction with a well
established Coroner or Medical Examiner System

In such a jurisdiction with a robust death investigation system,
the sudden and unexpected death of the Pastor
presumably from a motor vehicle accident would have necessitated
as required by legal statue calling a Medical Examiner or a Coroner who in all likelihood
would have requested for an autopsy in order to exclude foul play
by way of a staged vehicular homicide.

By the time the autopsy had been completed with all the major and
minor organs and his brain fully examined and dissected with samples
sent to the Forensic Laboratory, I can bet you that the Pastor
would be needing a new body to be resurrected into,

That some of our people would still be peddling these kind of
stories is a testament to the fact that while other human beings
are moving forward the African is regressing further backwards.

Just taking one look at the surroundings of the Pastor's village near  Onisha, appraising
the facility that functions as a mortuary (without a refrigerating unit)
and one should be asking if we Nigerians have actually made any improvements
in the lives of our citizens after over 50 years post independence.

The only positive thing going for the video is the cleanliness of the surroundings
and the spirit of the people!

Religion and Crude Oil are the two major curses that have been inflicted
on our psyche!

Bye,

Ola

Truly backward, dumb, primitive, and superstitious. Another trick from the 419 Nigerian mega pastors. Shame!

You are either a gullible moron - or a crook: or both!

This is the kind of IDIOCY Nigerians still believe and buy into in 2011.

Why then still bother to build hospitals...?

Why not then try to wake every Nigerian that dies...and invite credible media representatives to witness this 'miracle'...why report it in a video without pictures - if you are not CROOKS?

Why not show the world the man's mangled body after the car accident - and the man after he came "Back From The Dead After 3 Days"?

Omo ole!

Africans are backward, dumb, primitive and still superstitious!

Especially Nigerians!

And Nigerians who believe in this CRAP are CON-ARTISTS and 419ers who give Nigerians a BAD NAME in the world!
