Kings and no other.
In your eyes, Gaddafi may be the king of kings of Africa, but in my
eyes, Herr Gaddafi who deposed his own King Idris of Libya is not even
what you yourself calls a "Black African." and contrary to what King
Gaddafi has been saying, all his bepple do not "love" him.
As a matter of fact someone told me yesterday that there was unequal
development in Libya and that Gaddafi had been spending more money on
the east of Libya, than on the West. The moral of the tale? When you
want all your people to love you then to begin with, you spray your
money (the Libyan people's money) on them all, equally, not above all
on your cronies worldwide and on your dear, dearer, dearest and most
dearest family members.
This is well documented: During this conflict, the pro-Gaddafi forces
and mercenaries of the Libyan government has for a long time now been
killing Black Africans - Black Libyans to begin with - and we are to
assume that if we had Black African-Americans fighting on the side of
the so called " rebels", Gaddafi would have urged his troopers and
they would have been killing those "rats" too.
Yet you mean to tell me that ostensibly, you (Chika Onyeani), Dr.
Zuma, Mugabe and Ping have no qualms about glorifying Gaddafi for
doing so? In that case it's a warped mindset that ascribes racism to
one part of Libya and not to the other in this on-going war and not
the same kind of mindset that rose up against apartheid in South
Africa.

Over the years, I've known a number of Libyans of varying shades and
complexions, Black and White Arabs and Berbers (for security reasons
- their security - I cannot give you their names etc) but I assure
you that they are not racists and would not be killing "Black
Africans" in cold blood if they were not mercenaries fighting on
Gaddafi's side - whether they had been coerced into fighting as
mercenaries – or they are/were merely fighting for a few dollars
more.
In my view those who are captured should not be summarily executed
but retained as prisoners of war. That would be in accordance with the
Geneva Convention, wouldn't it?

We are also to assume that if some of the African cheerleaders for
Gaddafi in this forum were as committed in their hearts and in their
testicles as they appear to be committed in their mouths, they would
have gone to the battlefront on behalf of their so called king of
kings ( along with Jean Ping) to fight the good fight for him and to
help him fulfil his dream of becoming not only Africa's first ping of
pings but also the first president of the United States of Africa .
But alas, many have got fat from too much largesse, as Hamlet said,
are "grossly full of bread."

Finally.
And the Nigerian Government and several Nigerian Governments of the
past have been " Killing Black Africans" - you see what they did to
the Biafrans, used starvation as a weapon of war, their own people,
starved them to death.
What do you have to squeak about that? Good or bad?
Would like to add that there are a number of clarifications made in
that excellent CFC article on the Boko Haram. Toni Johnson dispels
some myths and some of what's said raises other questions that I
should like to point out in responding to that and not to Chika
Onyeani.
