| Protesters in Ghana were sent to jail, stripped of their clothes and given no food for peaceful demonstrating against the US-European war against Libya
Revolutionary Greetings, We hope this message finds you and your family (ideological and biological) all in the very best of health and Revolutionary spirits. We thank you for your Revolutionary vigilance and efficiency. The truth is 22 comrades (including the author of this message) were released on the afternoon of 22 September, following our protest against the NATO US-European war against Libya and Africa where we had been arrested in Accra at the demonstration on 21 September. There was false information released the night of 21 September that we had already been released, when in fact we were transferred from Accra Regional Command Police to the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), processed, stripped of our clothes and sent to jail cells for the night. The following morning, we were promised breakfast, which never arrived. Then we were promised lunch, but never given until we were unconditionally released and went straight to a press conference. We have to thank the police as it's clear that dialectically the police intervention has helped to spark more attention to the contradiction of NATO rats (so-called Libyan rebels) using terrorism to kill thousands of Africa People (including those of Ghana), while the neo-colonial government of Ghana sides with the NATO National Terrorist Organisation. Had our march not been interfered with, it would have only caught the attention of thousands, whereas now it's catching the attention of millions including Mathaba. It will help to promote the next actions of resistance to be organized soon. The illegal arrest of 22 comrades helped to consolidate solidarity among the US/NATO Hands of Libya/Hands off Africa Coalition, All-African People's Revolutionary Party, (A-APRP), the Convention People's Party, (CPP), the Pan-African Improvement Association, the Socialist Forum of Ghana and others. It also helped to remove any fear that comrades may have had of being arrested while instilling more confidence among organizers. Your Brother and Comrade, Imani |
