Libyan Green Resistance keeps fighting against the NATO-rebel terrorists.
Members of the NATO-led rebels' National Transitional Council (NTC) have asked NATO to stay in Libya till at least the end of the year. "We hope NATO will continue its campaign until at least the end of this year to serve us and neighbouring countries," said Abdel Jalil, head of the rebel's Council, at a conference in Doha, Qatar. Last week NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen said NATO plans to leave Libya on October 31, which preliminary decision was approved during a NATO council meeting on Friday, with the formal statement expected to be made this week. Rasmussen also declared last Friday that the NATO "mission" could be ended within days as the Libyan civilians are no longer "in danger", referring to the alleged assassination of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. But on Tuesday U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told CNN that NTC members asked NATO to stay so they could "try to establish some of their governance." He said that the decision is up to NATO, adding that the U.S. is looking at its long-term relations with the NTC military. NTC's request to NATO makes clear the Libyan Al-Fateh Revolutionaries are still resisting and fighting against the rebels who never had and will never have any chance of progress without NATO bombing and shelling Libya's forces and civilians. Members of NATO which has bombed Libya for months under the guise of "humanitarian intervention", destroying a huge part of its infrastructure and killing tens of thousands of its people, will meet on Friday to decide when to possibly end the American-European war against Libya. # |
