CALL FOR PAPERS
In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Law of the University of Nigeria, the Faculty will issue a volume of commemorative essays exploring contemporary legal issues in the African, International and Indigenous legal systems. The editors of the Commemorative Essays of the University of Nigeria Law Faculty therefore invite essay proposals on any legal topic of contemporary relevance pertaining to these systems. Each proposal should clearly indicate the topic of the proposed essay, its central argument, its contribution to scholarship in the field together with the name and affiliations of the author. A proposal should ordinarily be no more than one page long (Times New Roman size 12 font). Exception will be made for slightly longer proposals where justified. The proposal should be sent by e-mail to uneclawresearcher@yahoo.com as soon as possible, but no later than October 31, 2011, or by post within the same deadline to:

Each proposal will be reviewed by the editors and the result communicated in writing to the author. Where a proposal is accepted, the editors expect the author to complete the essay, which should be between 15 and 25 double-spaced pages long, before December 15, 2011, ahead of publication in February, 2012.
