Understand this, Jega took over N130billion out of the common patrimony to conduct an election, N89billion of which was allegedly spent in putting together a biometric national database of voters. From our communication with INEC lawyer, the database was not used for the election, which presupposes that it is non-existent. The question is, how could a national election be conducted without a national database?
Jega has been running from pillar to post trying to spurn opportunities to confront inquisitive Nigerians with facts because he wants to maintain the mantra: 2011 election was free, fair and credible. But this was different from another evil exercise done in 2007 by a bloke called Professor Maurice Iwu. He released all the materials in his possession, though the election petition tribunal in the states used that as the basis to nullify some elections and install certain governors in office. At that time, even the supreme court was split in its judgment because the facts were starring everyone in the face!
But what did we see in 2011? The electoral chief has shown such egregious irresponsibility by spurning a court summons to tell Nigerians everything that transpired, through the electoral documents. With the active pollution of the PDP government, and very bizarrely, the Tribunal justices cancelled the subpoena order for him to appear! We voiced our dissent of that infra-dig and now, the crude distraction called contempt.
...We said it before and we say it again, the Tribunal Justices were WRONG and have not served the course of Justice with that ruling on Wednesday, 28th September, 2011.... "these Justices were wrong and have not served the course of Justice."
..... Professor Attahiru Jega has, by his indecent conduct, thrown back our Nation before the advent of the generallisimo of 'do or die' electoral war!

I agree with Mr Fashakin that the honorable Justices were wrong to cancel the subpoena on Jega to come and testify before the court.
The above assertions should be investigated, and if proved, Jega should be excoriated for executing the biggest 419 of the century!
Someone must pay for the crime!

Dear Yakubu Usman,
I just read yours and salute your frankness.
GMB's persona gives us the needed encouragement as those that have come to appreciate his sagacity as a leader.
I do not need to allow excoriation of my person (by the adversary) to detract or distraction from the pursuit of the big picture.
See, Everyone is talking about the contemptuous statement but how did we get there? If you allow the distractions, you stand the risk of losing focus and that would be disastrous!
We got here because Professor Attahiru Jega shunned the invitation of the Court to bring the election materials with him to court. Last thursday, I packed my bag. At the next sitting, I shall go to court with a packed bag again. We said it before and we say it again, the Tribunal Justices were WRONG and have not served the course of Justice with that ruling on Wednesday, 28th September, 2011.
If their plan is to kill me (which the ALMIGHTY shall resist), as long as I live, I shall continue to say, "these Justices were wrong and have not served the course of Justice."
I do not count any scurrillous attack on my person as worthier than the greater good of unrelenting pursuit of Justice.
Professor Attahiru Jega has, by his indecent conduct, thrown back our Nation before the advent of the generallisimo of 'do or die' electoral war!
We must remain vigilant because it is only price for our freedom.
Best regards.

Prof, Thanks for your candid talk. What drew my attention to Noyo's posting was '' Frog face Fashakin'' and not her religious bigoted question of Buhari and Fashakin's God.( I have Noyo's pictures but i will not call her a duck). I have observed over time how we (Nigerians) will go to any lenght to destroying people that shares opinions that are different from ours. Noyo, has not shown respect to anybody most especially those with different religion and political learning/affiliations and she is taking this to a new height. I will not bother to respond to her but when she makes it an honor to dishonor others, somebody should bring her to her senses. After the campaigns, she insulted Buhari and anybody that caught her fancy but what got to me was that of Yinka and his family. The wife ( Dr comrade) fought, protested, demonstrated and was tear gassed many a times during our campaign to dislodge the military from our polity and it hurts most especially when that woman is a woman like Noyo I may not be diplomatic, (that is why i am not a politician) but ....i understand. Thanks my broda. Extend my greetings to madam and the family. Yakubu Usman. --- On Tue, 10/11/11, Joseph Igietseme <jbi8@cdc.gov> wrote:
