There are interesting developments between Nigeria and the U.S. in respect of the Judicial Crisis and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The Law reform Commitee set up on October 14 2011 by the Chief justice of Nigeria Following the CRISIS within the Judiciary is to submit its report on November 18 2011.
Whereas the Cuban Missile Crisis Started on October 14 1962 and ended November 20 1962.the fifth birthday anniversary of President Goodluck Jonathan.who was sworn in on May 29 2010 the 93rd Birthday of U.S. President John F.Kenedy.
The Crisi in the Judiciary has been described as unprecedented in Nigerian History
whereas the Cuban Missile Crisis is s also described as unprecedented in World History. Then the world was brought to the precipice of a Nuclear Conflict.
At the Core of the Conflict were John F Kennedy President of the U.S., Fidel Castro, Cuban Leader and Nikita Kruchev Soviet Leader.
Interestingly Olisa Agbakoba one of the members of the Nigerian Reform committee appointed by the Chief Justice shares some striking things with John F.Kennedy.
Kennedy and Agbakoba were born on May 29 1917 and May 29 1953 respectively
Kennedy and Agbakoba both studied at the London School of Economics.
Kennedy and Agbakoba are both Catholics.
Kennedy was a law maker and Agbaokaba is a lawyer.
Kennedy joined the Navy and relatedly Agbakoba is a memeber of the Institute of Shipping and is a maritime Lawyer
