USA Africa Dialogue Series - Of Walt Disney and Solomon Iguanre

Of Walt Disney and Solomon Iguanre by Augustine Togonu-Bickersteth,London,England

I found some interesting developments  between U.S. and Nigeria in respect of Walt Disney and Solomon Iguanre.

 

Disney was a Cartoonist,Comedist and , Film Director .He had his Laugh-o-Grams

 and studied at the Chicago Art Institute.

Whereas

Iguanre , also a Cartoonist,Comedist and Theatre Director co founded Laffomania. Iguanre studied at the Unibadan Faculty of Arts.

 

Chicago is the Capital of mid west America,home of the skyscraper and Printing Capital of America

Whereas  Ibadan is the Capital of south west Nigeria, home of the Nigerian Skyscraper and Publishing Capital of Nigeria.

Disney worked as an Ambulance Driver and relatedly Iguanre worked Direcrtly under a Medical Doctor.

 

Disney has been descrbied as the world"s greatest Entertainment company and Laffomania once described as the funniest Comedy outfit in South west Nigeria.
