With the brutal political assassination of Olaitan Oyerinde in his home, in the presence of his wife and four little children, I have finally convinced myself of the urgent need for citizens to fully arm themselves as a way of protecting their families in the current Nigerian situation. It no longer makes any sense not to do so. One man, one rifle.

He had a genuine and great love of people, and we were already looking forward to him becoming one of the outstanding leaders of my generation as he rose through the ranks of Labor to become the personal secretary of Edo State Governor.
