Nasarawa Journal of Humanities
(Funded by the TETFUND and open to Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Administration, Law and Department of Arts and Social Sciences in the Faculty of Education)
Nasarawa Journal of Humanities: presents a scholarly account of studies of individuals and societies in Central Nigeria, Nigeria and Africa. Its scope is to publish original research by social scientists in the areas of anthropology, sociology, history, political science, economics, psychology, accounting, business, geography, entrepreneurial studies, public administration, education, social studies, law and related social sciences about Central Nigeria, Nigeria and African societies and cultures and their relationships. The journal focuses on problems and possibilities, past and future. Where possible, comparisons are made between issues, countries, and continents. Articles should be based on original research, and they can also be co-authored. The journal will be bi-annual.
Interested members of these Faculties are invited to submit original articles or book reviews for consideration for publication in the maiden editions of the first two volumes of the Journal. The first volume is expected to be out in August and the second volume in November
All contributions will be subjected to blind peer review.

Submission Guidelines
How to Submit an Article
• Manuscripts should be typewritten and submitted in the form of a computer file plus print-out. The printed pages should be numbered. The manuscript should be between 4000-6000 words double-space (12-pt font) typewritten pages.
• Authors are requested to provide a 250 words abstract at the beginning of the article, as well as up to 5 or 6 keywords. The abstract summarises aim, result and conclusion of the research.
• References, in-text citations/quotations, and notes: Please provide a separate list of references at the end of your article. Please refer to the Chicago Manual of Style (http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/about.html
• Use endnotes, not footnotes.
• Please add home or institutional address, phone number and email address on a separate sheet.
• Authors will receive page proofs of their article for correction. The corrected page proofs are to be returned to the journal editor within seven days.
