WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden has apologized to President Barack Obama for comments that led the president to speed up his public acknowledgement of his support for gay marriage.
A person familiar with the exchange between Obama and Biden says they spoke Wednesday, shortly before the president discussed his views on gay marriage in a television interview.
