Dear Nigerians abroad:
Empowered Newswire, a US based independent news agency is now compiling a directory of the topmost 1000 Nigerian professionals and business people based and working as professionals in the United States and Canada.
This Directory would be published as soon as we attain the number 1000 and it would be widely circulated in Nigeria, North America and other parts of the world.
To qualify for listing an individual:
1.Must have a visible professional job or own a business in the US or Canada.
2. Must demonstrate community value here in North America or Nigeria
Nominations are encouraged from all walks of life, both elitist and non-elitist.
We are interested in highlighting all Nigerians who are distinguished in their careers, trades and businesses. We are also interested in those who operate at the community level providing all kinds of valuable services and conducting a visibly honest ventures.
Individuals who are temporarily away in Nigeria or elsewhere outside of North America but still maintain roots or residency here-North America, are also eligible to be listed.
Once compiled, the directory would be launched and presented to the Diaspora community at a major public event here.
All Nigerian organizations are encouraged to nominate notable professionals in their associations and groups. But the process of nomination is open to all individuals, groups both here in North America, Nigeria, or from anywhere in the world.
Nominations should include:
FULL NAMES
JOB TITLES OR BUSINESS NAME
ADDRESS
A SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF NO MORE THAN 50-100 words
