By Chidi Anthony Opara
Our cries ascend to Chukwu,
Amadioha is dispatched to earth.
Amadioha comes to judge,
Face of the firmament clouds.
Our gaze are fixed
On the flattened fort
Of our fallen foes,
Our eyes feasting
On the just devastation done.
Rams of Amadioha
Roam the flattened fort
Taunting our fallen foes
To rise and fight.
Our faces beam,
Tears
Rain from our sunken eyeballs,
We swim
On the pool of joy.
Our limp limbs are firm again.
We prance around,
Praising the just judge.
