USA Africa Dialogue Series - Interview Request: Working as an academic in East Africa

Dear All,

How are you today? I'm an academic and I also do freelance journalism work for the academic careers website Jobs.ac.uk - http://www.Jobs.ac.uk/. I'm working on a piece looking at 'working in East Africa' . The article is looking to give advice to academics looking to work in universities across the region.

I wonder if I can interview academics from East Africa or folks who have worked as academics in the region.

5. What career prospects lie ahead for academics working in East Africa?

6. What is the typical salary structure in countries across the region?
