Not really, however if you hearkened to the contentious battle that raged over the nomination and eventual triumph of the new African Union Commission chairperson, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, you would think so. But that would obviously not be true. The bigger question though is the great stride that the women of Africa are making, as Africa has become more progressive than other parts of the world.
