No, Abdul doesn't want Romney as president as much as he wants Obama defeated. The man, for reasons known to him and God, simply wants Obama defeated, regardless of who or what the opponent is. Obama could be running against a frog and Abdul would still want the frog to win so that he would bask in the satisfaction of seeing Obama defeated. Very bizarre politics if you ask me--rooting for someone who clearly negates all your professed political values simply because you can't stand the incumbent who is, however imperfectly, more aligned with your values and interests.
