Subject: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Does anyone know about funeral rites in Malawi?
Hello all,
Please does anyone know about funeral rites in Malawi? I was informed that when a family member passes on, to prevent children from having nightmares, they are bathed with water boiled in a certain plant. What plant can this be?
Please how can I find out more about this practice? Is there any other culture that engages in this kind of rite/ritual?
Thank you
Kole
