That is because, Most Honorable and Revered Citizen Mwalimu Ikhide, we Americans vote for our pocketbooks. We care very little about what is out there. As Brother Bill Clinton puts it, "It's the economy, stupid!" So, just like the economy did in the GOP in 2008, the economy will do in the Democrats in 2012, barring any last-minute economic miracle, which seems to be quite unlikely at this juncture.
