That poll is dated indeed.  Here are the latest poll results in the battleground/swing states among LIKELY voters:

Average    47.3                  47.3

 

Not much to write home about, especially in Fl where the grandma over the cliff Medicare scare apparently has not worked for Obama.

In North Carolina, where the Democrats held their convention, Romney is now 51% and Obama 45%.

In addition, Romney has turned around Obama's 5% lead to him now leading Obama by 3% in just four days. With the way the Middle East crisis is going, Obama may need a miracle.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 45% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.
