There's more to it than that. Both claim another revelation after the Gospels and both ban alcohol for believers. Both collect tithes on believers, too. Romney (like many Americans) is fine with social welfare, as long is it's done privately, not through the government, especially if it's done through churches. There's no spiritual merit in paying your taxes.
