Polls: Paul Ryan won the debate against Joe Biden

Paul Ryan won the debate on style and on substance.
According to CNN poll of debate watchers released following Thursday's matchup between Rep. Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden showed 48% of respondents named Ryan the winner and 44% said Biden won.
According to Yahoo.com with 650,000 votes in the poll, Paul Ryan won the debate, Ryan has 54% and Joe Biden 46%, a 8% lead in this poll.
A CNN/ORC International post-debate poll shows a 50%-41% margin, debate watchers say that Ryan rather than Biden better expressed himself.

Ryan also had a slight advantage on being more in touch with the problems of average Americans.
One of the top jobs for the candidates in a vice presidential debate is to convince Americans that they would be able to step into the top job if something happened to the president. The poll indicates that both men were seen as qualified to be president if necessary, by roughly equal numbers.
I thought it was a good debate. However, Biden's rude behavior was baffling and un-presidential. I thought Ryan was much stronger than I anticipated, as his behaving in a courteous manner served him well.
I was shocked by Vice President Joe Biden's demeanor at Thursday night's vice presidential debate against GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan. Biden acted towards Paul Ryan in an openly, contemptuous, and in-disrespectful manner. Biden showed this with his smirks, judging smiles, head shaking, mugging, and calling out during Ryan's statements saying "malarkey", "stuff", and "loose" talk.
I found Biden to be condescending and arrogant. Joe Biden seemed defensive, arrogant, and condescending against Ryan. I felt Biden's facial expressions may have lost him and Obama the election.
Biden was laughing at everything, interrupting, as if he was a two year old... While Biden won on aggressiveness, Ryan won on substance and actually acting presidential.
I appreciated how respectful Ryan was. His knowledge was impressive, and he was the clear winner in the debate.

President Obama supports the institutional redistribution of wealth in the USA. President Obama's taxing of the rich plan won't solve the deficit. President Obama could confiscate the entire wealth of America's top 400 wealthiest people ($1.7 trillion dollars) and it wouldn't put much of a dent in our +$16.2 trillion deficit.
President Obama's proposed solution to reducing the deficit, "tax the rich" plan will only fund the government for about 8 days.

President Obama's plan "unify a divided nation" has never happened. Obama has been nothing like the healer-in-chief he promised to be. Early on he took the low road, inflaming resentments, demonizing his critics, and, yes, pitting red Americans against blue Americans. President Obama's defenders argue that he had no choice, going negative was his only option.
President Obama was going to unite the country, but all he has done is divide and pit one group against another. He pits the rich against the poor, blacks against whites, old against young, workers against management, unions against companies, and home owners against bank.
Paul Ryan articulated a strong conservative position in the debate. Mitt Romney's plan for a stronger Middle Class is a five-part proposal for turning around the economy, delivering more jobs, and more take-home pay for American families.
