Job Announcement
Missouri State University is seeking to hire a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of History in African History beginning August 2013. Candidates must complete their Ph.D. in African History or African Studies within one year of their initial appointment. The successful candidate must also demonstrate an ability to teach
Continental Africa and World History. Submit a cover letter, academic vita,
transcripts, three letters of recommendation and a syllabus for an upper level survey in Continental Africa and a survey in World History either to 1600 or from 1600. All applications must be completed on-line; no paper submissions will be accepted except for letters of recommendation which must be sent to the Chair of the search committee. Employment will require a criminal background check.
Priority
