Re: USA Africa Dialogue Series - FW: Black is in (a self-esteem builder).

and what does that mean to the millions of Black children all over the world who will go to bed hungry tonight?  What does that mean to the miners in South Africa?

With the exception of Mr. Obama, all you've shown is that Black people are doing what the conquerors wanted them to do:  sing, dance, run, jump.  Entertain.  And notice you mostly selected folks from the American wing of the African Diaspora.  Typical, glorifying a Black entertainer but having no day to day dealings with regular Black folks and being more racist than the average White man.  Oh, I'm supposed to think you'd be HAPPY if your daughter married a Black American man?  Give me a break.  It is possible for Black folks of different national origins to be MORE prejudiced against each other than a klansman.  And, I am not saying it is without reason.

Please stop glorifying entertainers.  Look up Dr. Ben Carson or Dr. Keith Black.  Or better yet.  Give a shout out to the regular Black man or Black woman.  We're not all that incredibly bad.
