By the time polls closed at 12 midnight in the west of the United States, President Barack Obama's annihilation and destruction had emerged of his Republican challenger Mitt Romney. It wasn't even close. According to sources close to the Romney's campaign, he was shellshocked, because he was just so confident that he was going to win. Papers screamed, "Romney Shellshocked by results." According to CBS news, the Romney.Ryan campaign went into the evening totally confident that they had a path to the presidency, until results starting coming in from different states. They began to see huge numbers of voters in traditionally Obama strongholds in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida, and when Pennsylvania, a state Romney had wasted his time on election day visiting and they had thought would present a problem to Obama, that they began to worry.(Read More)Chika A.
