N.B. Burns didn't say peace, he said "ceasefire". As things are Israel
wants peace, whereas Hamas could settle for a hudna....
Apart from Israel and Hamas there are other actors in that volatile
neighbourhood.who would much prefer something much more drastic than a
ceasefire...
