I've come across federalist ideas before, but this is not one of
them.
If you succeed, you might eventually be awarded the Noble Prize for
peace - for bringing peace and tranquillity to the Middle East.
First of all you'll have to gently/ by non-violent means persuade
Hamas to abrogate Article Eleven of the Hamas Charter

I can tell by your red headgear that you (the man from Enugu) must
have the sort of faith that can move mountains - that extra " yes we
can" - can move mountains – perhaps can even move the Dead Sea, since
you suggest "a federal system of government which would respect the
autonomy of local governments while guaranteeing the equal protection
of all under the federalist constitution"
"while guaranteeing the equal protection of all under the federalist
constitution"
sounds interesting, ideal. Israel is presently only asking for a 15
year lull in violence. But as to your federal plans, I suspect that
the Biafrans among them will not like the idea. Those who believe that
it will bring " equal protection", that is the interested parties
will take a closer look at the details of your plan, the status of the
holy places, the federal holy water supply,,the demilitarised zones
etc
...
You remember Libya's Dinosaur Rex said that "Obama the African has an
inferiority complex" ?
He floated the idea of "Isra-tine", reported by Arutz Sheva, thus:
"Qaddafi's Mideast Solution: Isratine
Libyan dictator Qaddafi told the UN he has the solution for the
Mideast: One state called Isratine. Many in his audience slept through
his speech."
