(Poem By: Chidi Anthony Opara)
They dot this domain
Dungs
Dropped by dogs
Deranged
Dancing deranged dances.
Deranged dogs debase this domain,
The stench of their dungs
Spreads.
This domain is in disarray,
Our teeth
Are clenched in prayers.
We clap,
We applaud in fear
When deranged dogs
During deranged dances
Defecate,
Our descendants may be doomed.
Our fists must clench,
Our teeth must clench.
Not clenched in prayers,
Clenched
In clashes with deranged dogs
Lest our descendants be destined
To putrid patrimony.
