It is true that when a disaster occurs all comments and insinuations coupled with unimaginable fables will be told. Government will appear to be proactive but as soon as the steam reduces that is the end of it.
We need to know when last was the helicopter was given a thorough service? The parts that should have been replaced as a result of expiration, were they changed with quality parts?
What was the state of mind of the Pilot?
The black box will be our guide and we hope the report will be made public. Meanwhile we feel deeply wounded by the irreparable loss of our beloved ones who were victims of the tragic accident. May their souls rest in perfect peace.

For some days now i have been thinking and reflecting on this crash, thinking and reflecting that is on when to say what i have to say about it!The article by Victoria [Venting on the Bayelsa crash] is in exact consonance with my sentiments and thoughts on the issue. I will only add, that this incidence has only just once again revealed the pervasive and endemic nature of the process of privatisation of public wealth, and the conversion to personalised private use of public utilities, infrastructures and services, that is rampant and widespread at all levels of government among public office holders. It is a mere tip of the iceberg of rot that has held back our national development over the last 52 years.Regards,Jaye GaskiaFrom: Sahara Reporters <saharareporter@yahoo.com>

Subject: NigerianID | Venting About The Bayelsa Crash… By Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri
The chopper went down. Souls perished. Investigations, as usual, have been ordered. Three days mourning have also been declared. And the routine blame and counter-blame games erupt among the populations, with the attendant religious, ethnic and tribal twists to a sad story. This is the story of Nigeria!READ MORE… http://bit.ly/Wlt2Hn __._,_.___
